Coimbatore : The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s All India Representative Council (Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha) meeting begins at the Amrita University campus. RSS Sarsanghachalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat lit the lamp.The three-day sabha is being held for the first time in Tamil Nadu, said RSS all-India media coordinator (Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh) Manmohan Vaidya during press meet held on saturday. ‘RSS general secretary Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi would preside over the meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha, the highest decision-making body of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, in the presence of Sarsanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat,’ he said.
The participants would share their experiences of the past year and report on their achievements and the challenges that they faced. The Sabha would adopt resolutions on various national issues, will be discussed, debated and passed on the second day of the meet. Over 1,500 representatives from RSS and its allied organisations are expected to take part. The RSS has 11 zones (Kshethra) and 42 provinces (Pranth) across the country. An Exhibition is also arranged on various subjects and RSS Kerala unit to demonstrate portraits on ‘Communist Violence’ in Kerala State.
