Kochi: The Enforcement Directorate has asked the state government to hand over the documents relating to Life Mission Project. The ED however denied the claim that Chief Secretary forwarded the documents. The files related to the diplomatic baggage was also not submitted by the protocol department.
The notice was sent to the Chief Secretary of the Enforcement Directorate seeking information on the MoU signed with the UAE Red Crescent on the Life Mission project. However, a week after the notice was issued, the probe team said it has not yet received the documents.
The ED had asked the government whether they sought the permission of the Centre before entering into an agreement with the UAE Red Crescent and to produce the minutes of the discussions with them and the relevant files.
