‘Dakshin Bharat’s Nightingale’ K.S. Chitra faces worst sort of cyber attack due to her whole hearted support for the Ayodhya Pran Pratishta. Chitra’s video appealed to the people of Kerala to light the deepa (traditional lamp) at 12.20pm on January 22 in connection with the Pran Pratishta. Video message also appealed to the people to render Rama japa during those auspicious hours. The video has gone viral adding enthusiasm of lakhs of Ram Bhaktas in the state. But, immediately cyber attacks were unleashed against Chitraji. The language used to attack her is objectionable in nature.
BJP president K. Surendran stated that the only fault of Chitraji is her ardent faith in Sanatan Dharma. That is why Red-Jihadi unholy nexus attacks her. He said, he is at a loss to understand any other fault in her appeal to light the lamps and render Ram Japa. He said, people from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, cutting across party and religious lines, speaking various languages and dining in diverse styles, are celebrating the Pan Pratishta. But, in Kerala, under the rule of Pinarayi Vijayan, the devotees face third rate cyber attacks. He alleged that Congress has not reacted to this unfortunate incident despite shouting on top of their voice that they respect all religious faiths.
K. Surendran said that, in Kerala, if somebody writes and says anything, in social media, against Pinarayi Vijayan, he would be put behind the bars. The same police is not in the vicinity when cyber attacks take place against the followers of Sanatana Dharma. He demanded strict and quick actions against the cyber attackers who denounce K.S. Chitra. He declared full support to K.S. Chitra.
Union Minister V. Muraleedharan attacked the cyberbullying against K.S. Chitra too. He sees anti-Hindu sentiments behind this.
Anti-Hindu and anti-Mandir forces are desperate and upset, thanks to the unexpected and enormous popularity the Akshata distribution gets in the state. Mega Star Mohanlal, matinee idols Dileep and his wife Kavya Madhavan and C. Radhakrishnan, reputed novelist and script writer and winner of several prestigious awards, are some of the important personalities who received Akshata with utmost devotion and respect.
Akshata distribution in Kerala has crossed all estimations and expectations. On several occasions, the available manpower is insufficient to reach all houses according to the demand. People keep on calling the Sangh-inspired people for Akshat. They are afraid, they would not get it if it goes out of stock. This correspondent receives several calls a day for Akshat.
Formely, there was a saying in the anti-BJP political circles that Rama is not a crowd pulling sentiment in Dakshin Bharat, especially in Kerala. People with sinister and vested interests keep on propagating that Rama is a Uthar Bharat God and is not capable of creating any impact in the state. But, now, what one sees here is the other way around. Naturally they turn panic and upset hence the cyber attacks.
But, the attackers are replied in the same coin by the right thinking netizens. The developments prove that Rama is worshipped in Kerala in the same gravity as Lord Siva, Sabarimala Ayyapa and Guruvayoor Sreekrishna are worshipped.
