Tiruvilla: Lekha V. Nair of Paliyekkara Mulavana House got her home back, thanks to the successful endeavours of Viswa Sevabharathi to regain the property from the Tiruvilla Cooperative Bank before it was attached due to non-payment of the loan. Lekha’s husband Pradeepkumar. M.S. met with an accident in Valakam and he died on May 14. Lekha had sustained serious injuries hence unable to continue her job. Earlier, the couple had pledged their property in Tiruvilla Cooperative Bank and availed a loan of Rs 6,50,000. Since Lekha failed to repay the loan, Bank went ahead with the attachment action. When RSS workers came to know about it, Viswa Sevabharathi men came forward to pay back Rs 4,46,807 as one-time settlement and avoided the attachment action and collected the title deed of the land from the bank.
