Maha Amritanandamayi Devi alias Amma accepted the Akshata consecrated at Rama Mandir, Ayodhya, in connection with the Pranapratishta, from senior RSS leader S. Sethumadhavan. Sethumadhavan and a team of RSS workers visited Amma at her Ashramam in Kochi on January 6. Amma accepted the Akshata and touched it at her head as a mark of utmost respect and devotion. Amma was accompanied by several other devotees and monks in the Ashramam. Amma placed flowers on Askshata before receiving it.
Sethumadhavan visited famous actor Naren, well known film maker Vinayan and child artist Devananda for offering Akshata.
