Thiruvananthapuram: RSS Sah Sarkaryavah Dr. Krishna Gopal said that the National Education Policy should be viewed with a long-term vision. He was speaking while inaugurating the Vidyabharati Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarta Shibir held at Bharatiya Vidyapeeth School, Parassala.
He said that changes to be introduced in Vidyabharati schools over the next 25 years should be planned with foresight and implemented accordingly.
Vidyabharati schools are functioning across the country. Through these schools, plans should be developed to shape personalities suitable for the nation. The youth should be guided to form their own perspectives. For this, imposed identities should be discarded. The new generation should be taught to live with a vision of unity, not with voices of division. What changes are needed in the education field and how they can be implemented step by step should be carried out by Pracharaks working in Vidyabharati, in line with the National Education Policy.
A Pracharak is not just an individual but an idea. Pracharaks carry the goals, ideology, and methods of the Sangh. Their aim is to lead the nation to Param Vaibhav through Dharma Raksha. Dharma Raksha and the nation’s Param Vaibhav cannot be separated. The aim of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is the protection of the nation, Dharma, and Samaj, and through this, to achieve the nation’s Param Vaibhav, Dr. Krishna Gopal said.
Vidyabharati General Secretary Deshraj Sharma, Vidyabharati National Organisation Secretary Govind Chandra Mohanti, and Vidyabharati National Secretary Shivprasad also spoke.
The four-day Shibir is attended by 62 representatives from different parts of the country. Discussions will be held on the progress of implementing the National Education Policy in Vidyabharati schools and future plans. The Shibir will conclude at 3 pm on the 25th.
