Kerala has become fertile soil for the Islamic State, which has been seeking to take root since its exile in Syria. The Islamic State is using communist terrorists as a cover-up for its activities in Kerala. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has begun investigations on the grounds that the ISIS is trying to take root in Kerala. It is learned that Northern Kerala, a CPM stronghold, has been chosen as a base for IS terrorist activities.
Investigations into the Sri Lankan blast in India have revealed that the ISI has chosen to make Kerala as a base. The pamphlets were distributed in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam under the agencies of IS Sleeping Cells. Investigators have found that the terrorists in the southern states were linked to the Sri Lankan blasts.
After the collapse of Syria, ISIS is seeking new ground and training is given especially to Indians with an aim is to promote terrorism using them in their home town. Most of the people who joined ISIS from India are Malayalees. The ISIS has made a concerted effort to settle Malayalees’ through human rights activities and proximity to communism. Investigators have identified the moves made by the ISIS to infiltrate the Maoists.
Investigators point out that despite the actions taken against terrorists anywhere in the world, there is always an objection to it in the name of human rights in Kerala. The communist sympathizers in Kerala were always seen supporting Saddam Hussein, Bin Laden and Ajmal Kasab. Taking advantage of this attitude of Malayalees, ISIS aims to establish its base in Kerala by concealing the backward and the oppressed in the society.
