Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teertha Khsetra, a trust which is looking after the construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, has announced it would be contributing for the construction of two Oxygen plants in the temple town. The proposed Oxygen plants would be located in the Dashrath Medical College in Ayodhya.

The trust announced that the complete cost of the two plants would be borne by it. It is expected to cost about one crore rupees. The trust, which led the campaign for the collection of funds for the construction of the grand Ram temple, had got over INR 5000 crores. Because of the sudden spike in the Covid-19 cases across the country, medical infrastructure has been under a lot of strain.

The Union government as well as state governments are making efforts to ensure the supply of medical Oxygen. The lives of many patients could be saved with the timely supply of the medical Oxygen. The Union government has banned the export of any medical Oxygen and all the industrial supply has also been diverted for the medical purposes. The government is also importing 23 mobile Oxygen plants from Germany to boost the supply.
