RSS has issued legal notices to Kerala State Youth Congress president Rahul Mankoottathil and Tamil writer (Smt.) Salama. The Notice sent by RSS Malappuram Vibhag Sahkaryavah Krishnakumar asks the respondents to withdraw the false statement and apologise to the organisation unconditionally.
Legal notice has been dispatched in view of the ‘Anti Fascist Samgamam’, a public programme, organised by Youth Congress in Malappuram, which stated that RSS assassinated Mahatma Gandhiji. Rahul Mankoottathil had made derogatory comments against the Supreme Court judges who instructed Rahul Gandhi to apologise to RSS for the deliberate defamatory statement he made against the organisation.
Another notice issued by RSS is against Youth Congress Malappuram district president Haris Muthoor, vice presidents Nidheesh, Prajith and Viswanathan, for the posters they pasted in Malappuram prior to the anti-RSS public programme. This journal had reported, on January 30, on the venomous posters against RSS. We had carried the images of the posters which asserted the false piece that RSS killed Mahatmaji.
The literate Kerala knows that the propaganda against RSS that the organisation killed Gandhiji is a sinister design to malign RSS before the public. And, Youth Congress take it as an opportunity to create fear in the minority minds. It is nothing but third rate vote bank politics. Youth Congress wants to establish that they are against RSS and they stand for minorities alone. They do not care about the several commission reports which came out in the past establishing that the propaganda linking RSS with the Gandhiji assassination is an utter lie.
