KOCHI: As part of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) centenary Programs, youth gatherings (Yuvasamgamam) across the Southern Kerala province will be held on August 14, 15, and 16. Thousands of youths are expected to participate in these events, which will take place across various Sangh district centers.
The programs will feature a vibrant lineup of activities, including devotional patriotic song sessions, community recitation and social dance presentations of Vande Mataram, messages on Akhand Bharat, and Bharat Mata Puja. Leading up to these main events, Tiranga rallies and bike rallies will be organized across taluk centers starting from August 9. Additionally, August 11 marks the martyrdom day of the brave revolutionary freedom fighter Khudiram Bose, on which the national flag will be hoisted at all houses alongside floral tributes and memorial programs at key locations. Meanwhile, in the Northern Kerala province, college student gatherings are being organized on Independence Day.
The poster launch and first registration for “Abhyudayam,” the youth program for the Vaikom Sangh district, were carried out by television presenter and film actress Meenakshi. Furthermore, several prominent figures will interact with the youth during the district-level events, including University of Kerala Vice-Chancellor Dr. Mohanan Kunnummal, former VSSC Director Dr. A. Rajarajan, national volleyball team captain Kishore Kumar, “Drone Man” Devan Chandrasekhar, and arm wrestling world champion Joby Mathew.
