Kasargod : A madrasa teacher was sentenced to 45 years rigorous imprisonment and Rs 3 lakh fine for sexually harassing a second standard girl student.
Kasargod Additional Sessions Court(1) sentences Abdul Majeed Latheefi alias Majeed under various sections of POCSO. If not paid a penalty, he has to undergo imprisonment for additional three years.
The case was registered against the Madrasa teacher for harassing a seven-year-old second standard student from Puthur village of Kasargod on January 21, 2016 and earlier occasions. Kasargod police had registered the case.
