Kochi: After Pahalgam, what Bharat demonstrated was the strength of Atmanirbharatha, said R. Sanjayan, Director of Bharatiya Vichara Kendra. He stated that historically, Bharat has never invaded or attacked any other country. Our nation advances on the foundation of the vision of the sages (Rishi Darshan). However, no country should ever consider Bharat weak, he added.
He was speaking at the Narada Jayanti celebration organized by the Vishwa samvada Kendra Kerala at Bharat Tourist Home, Ernakulam.
Since 2017, Bharat growing spirit of self-confidence has become evident. The idea of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” (Self-reliant Bharat) became visible in Bharat response after the Pahalgam incident. It showcased our ability to stand on our own feet, he said.
Sanjayan also remarked that there has been a general erosion of trust in the field of journalism today. Irresponsible reporting is becoming common in the media. He emphasized the need to uphold the true duty of journalism with sincerity.
The event was presided over by writer K.L. Mohana Varma. Vishwa samvada Kendra Chairman M. Rajashekhara Panicker, who has completed 50 years in the field of journalism, was honored at the function. Vayujith introduced Rajashekhara Panicker to the gathering.
K.L. Mohana Varma paid tribute to Prof. M.P. Manmadhan, describing him as a talented individual who excelled as a speaker, storyteller, teacher, and Sarvodaya activist.
