While delivering the concluding message at the Valedictory program of RSS Karyakarta Vikas Varg Dwitiya at Resimbagh, Nagpur, RSS Sarsanghachalak Dr Mohan Bhagavat mentioned many relevant issues related to the current scenario. A few journalists who live by selling controversies and fake narratives took words from the lines and wrote Dr Mohan Bhagwat insulted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and criticised BJP.
Since the conclusion of program, they are running the same lies everywhere actively and passively that, Mohan ji warned Modi ji and he said Modi ji is arrogant and should tone himself down, failure of the Govt to solve the problems in Manipur etc. Along with that, there are other fake narratives also pushed by the same media mafia, such as the efforts made by the RSS to defeat the BJP in the elections, the moves to keep Yogi and Modi down. Their creativity in building fake narratives are unending.
Dr. Mohan Bhagavat started his speech by commemorating Guru Arjun Dev who smiled even when he was dying inch by inch for the sake of Dharma, Rana Pratap who made Haldighat red with his own blood and Veera Birsa who challenged the British hegemony head on. Quoting the words of Sant Kabirdas, he exhorted about the greatness and traits of service and sevak. All things should be done with proper manners, without ego, without pretending to be one’s own, with perfection, without harming others. He reiterated that such are the true servants. RSS Chief quoted Sant Kabir while talking about the participation of Sangh workers in the election process. The election is over. The government came to power. The duty in that regard is complete. People gave their opinion. Things are going accordingly. Discussions beyond that are not Sangh’s work, Mohan Bhagwat clarified. He pointed out that etiquette was violated during the election campaign and utter lies were spread using digital media and use of technology. Even RSS was dragged into it for no reason. To the wicked, to the corrupt, knowledge is for controversy, money is for pride, and power is for harming others. At least they should remember that they are all part of this coccus who have been teaching Modi from the last day and night using the name of RSS. Another thing that was interpreted as Mohan Bhagwat’s insult against Modi was the Sarsangchalak’s words that policies should be implemented after discussions within the Parliament. The ‘swearing words’ served by the media are like this,
‘Samano Mantrah Samitissamanee, Samanam Manasaha Chittamesham’
is said in the Sangha Mantra. Vinobaji has given another tip on this. Even if the words, behavior and mantra are similar, the mind is not the same for all. Everyone’s mind works differently. Efforts should be made to create uniformity in such minds. One cannot get hundred percent mandate in any elections. There will be 2 sides in any election mandates.
Election is not war. What is needed is ‘honouring the mandate’ we have received. What is needed is, the attitude to see the other side as opposition, not as enemy. It is when we discuss each other, problems will get resolve and solutions evolve. Now election is over. The government came into existence. NDA came back to power. A lot of good things have happened in the past ten years. India has grown as an economic power, there has been a sense of unity among the people, the prestige of the nation has increased in front of the world, we have made great progress in the fields of art, sports, culture, science and technology. But this does not mean that the challenges are over. So we should be free from the excitement of the election period and think about the things ahead…
The media pandits have researched and found that Sarsangchalak’s suggestion of ending the unrest in Manipur should be given first priority is what they found as severe criticism against Prime Minister Modi. He mentioned Manipur while pointing out that the vision of development should be Bharatheeya and development cannot be complete in an atmosphere of unrest. Manipur has been in unrest for a year. There was peace in Manipur for ten years. The old gun culture was thought to be completely over. But suddenly there is violence. It is then fueled by hate speech. Sarsangchalak ji pointed out that this should be considered as priority and resolved. This is what the famous media personalities have interpreted as being against the Modi government. The same media that last year propagated that the RSS was responsible for the riots in Manipur is now playing the trick. What a change of track all of a sudden?
While addressing the Sangh Karyakarthas who have completed the training at Nagpur, the content of the RSS Chief’s message would always be about the ideas that are good and for the well being of the society as a whole. He pointed out the challenges that we need to solve together. In that 37 minute lecture, he spoke about environmental protection, need to grow a generation of value through family system, the need to eliminate all differences, the need to develop self-reliance, and the duties that every citizen should perform. He mentioned the damage caused by the heat wave and the water shortage in the big cities. It reminded me of Indian perspectives that befriended nature and approached mountains, rivers and hills with gratitude. He said that the benchmark of development should be Bharatheeya. Discrimination on the basis of caste should be stopped, untouchability must end, Temple, water, cremation etc belongs to everyone and should not be any discrimination in that, he said. A generation is coming up who goes to school with guns. Moral Values should be transmitted from family to generations. All changes must begin from with in each one of us. None of this can be done by governments alone. There should be a change in society. The system will not change until we begin the same from ourselves. Society should be ready for change. Dr. Ambedkar said that there will be spiritual awakening before social transformation. Before Shivaji Maharaj’s victory march, our Acharyas removed the differences in all systems and created an awareness of unity in the society. India’s heritage is of unity. Not of differences. There is nothing in our sciences that justifies incomprehensibility. Don’t cling to the mistakes of any period/era. Accept what is good and reject what is not. Brotherhood should grow. Respect each other’s beliefs. Everyone should feel that they are the sons of this nation.
Thus, he said all of these one by one in less time that each one of us should forget all the problems for the unity of this country. But a group of people who are obsessed with backbiting, subterfuge and intrigue will not understand this. They are still under the hangover of behind-the-scenes malicious political hate campaigns during the recently concluded election cycle fuelled by caste and separatist ideas to divide the society, not to unite.
