Palakkad : The Kerala fire & safety official, who is also a Popular Front activist, who was arrested yesterday in connection with the brutal murder of RSS leader in broad daylight, played a role in Sanjith murder case, said investigating officers.
As per reports, Jishad, an employee of Kongad Fire Station, was instrumental in understanding Sanjit’s trajectory and collecting travel information. Police said that he will also be charged in the Sanjith murder case.
Jishad knew exactly where Sanjit was going and when he was leaving the house. It has been found that Jishad had searched the houses of RSS leaders on the day of Sanjit’s murder and on the day of Srinivasan’s murder. Jishad was looking for RSS leaders in the Puthunagaram area of Palakkad.
Jishad is a native of Koduvayur. He joined the government service in 2017. It is learned that he was one of those who prepared the list for the Palakkad political revenge killings. The police team described Jishad as a reporter who collected and passed on information about RSS activists.
